Artist Statement

I am a multi-disciplinary sculpture artist and furniture maker working in Los Angeles. I am informed by traditional forms and approaches to object making. The goal of my sculpture work is to generate original visual statements by interweaving traditional technical hand skills with found industrial material. The focus of my furniture work is to meet individual functional needs with a sensitivity to materiality and production; utilizing techniques and materials that are accessible.
